For an experienced borrower, there are pitfalls, whether real or perceived. So imagine the confusion and frustration for a first-time homebuyer or investor. Our mission is to demystify the Mortgage Mystique and give home buyers, investors, and real estate professionals the information they need to make educated and informed decisions regarding their real estate investments.

Understanding a borrower's unique circumstances, sharing the reasons we ask for the information, and gathering the right information allows us to evaluate and create a financing plan to achieve the goals of homeownership, equity recapture, or investment purchase. About Clay

With a career that spans over four decades and more than $1 billion in real estate financed, Clay brings expansive experience and creativity to the world of mortgage lending. His work has served commercial real estate developers, capital sources, first-time buyers, seasoned investors, and countless families seeking a place to call home.

Clay began his career serving the C-suites of commercial mortgage banking clients, eventually moving into the world of affordable housing development. There, he structured complex bond financings and tax credit equity for multifamily communities, learning firsthand what it takes to bring a project from vision to reality — and how finance can transform lives.

Drawn to the emerging digital world in the early 2000s, Clay launched several creative ventures, including an early attempt at online music distribution, a Nashville-based country music record label, and even a television network devoted to the equestrian world, which even attracted the interest of a Captain of an out-of-this-world Enterprise.

Today, as a Mortgage Loan Officer and the voice behind MortgageSimplified.net, Clay simplifies the lending process for people from all walks of life — whether buying their first home, refinancing for a better future, or investing in real estate.

Clay is currently a Senior Loan Officer and Corporate Educator for Complete Mortgage LLC in Hollywood, Florida.
